And now I'm going to post some fan art.

vacation

So my aunt and I went to Camp Sherman in Oregon to meet up with some friends and family.

Before I left for the trip, a couple of friends gave me this book called A Collaboration With Nature that is written by Andy Goldsworthy. Andy does amazing things with nature, making the things around him into beautiful works of art. Google him and be impressed.

Needless to say, I was inspired to do something of my own.

This is a funny sort of tree bark that we found. For one of my "projects" I hooked the bark together to make a sort of chain.

The finished product looked way different from the way I started it, it broke so many times!

Close up.
Ohhh, artistic view.....
There was a gorgeous blue feather at the end, but you'll just have to look at the grey side.

When it was finished and all the pictures were taken, I decided to let it float away in the river for some reason.
It disintegrated.
Good trip.

day & night

Hi.
I'm back. And I have pictures.
morning...
I recently re-made a series of pastel paintings inspired by Van Gogh, depicting a well-known geological monument in the area I live in.

night.
Yay! I told you the zombies wouldn't get me!
More soon.

stalling....

It's been a busy time since I've posted last.

ok.... not really.  I've just been side-tracked with traveling and golf. Tomorrow, however, will be the day I really focus on art... a whole-day marathon of drawing and painting which will continue on to Tuesday and probably the rest of the week. So to my one, possibly two readers,  I present this picture I just drew online in a minute.

Yay! Everybody's happy....right?
Be back soon with pictures if the zombies don't get me.

cows.

So, I think I've become obsessed with these pens.

gasp! so... beautiful....

AND they can mark things, too? *sigh*
Ahem. Because I am in love, I have been using these things non-stop. I even look at the side of the road now to find things to draw with these.
The other day, I saw a field of cows that all had the same colors as these pens. It was perfect.
ahhhh... the magistik cow.... a cow once bit my sister.
Sooooo I drew the cow. I am not really... how would you say this... done yet, but I am working on it. So you are just going to deal with a faceless cow for now.

This cow isn't exactly like the photo, but I'm just trying to see what works.
 kthxbai!

p.s. the pens are Faber-Castelll 4 PITT artist pen big brush classic. you're welcome.
p.s.s. hi Ash! love ya!
