scrap paper and butter: a brief history of my art life

I guess I started making art when I was a toddler, just like everyone else in the world.

My first "grown-up" medium was watercolor, which was hard to paint at age 6 because you kinda have to stay focused to do it right. My first art competition and ribbon was at age 7 at the county fair; I won first place in kid's art.

Let's just say I was surprised.

Since then, I have:
been a member of an old creamery turned art gallery
learned many other mediums, like pastel and pen and ink
organized an art auction and started free art classes for kids with my friends (age 12)
participated in several art shows
organized my own art show (age 15)

In my recent art show, I collaborated with other artists to make one piece. I would start drawing something, and they would finish it however they wanted.

Right now, all I want to learn is how to enjoy art even more than I do now.

And maybe a little animation.
